It is essential to feel that whatever is disclosed during therapy will remain confidential. This very is important to both our clinical staff and clients. Vision of Hope Counseling assures that information disclosed during therapy will not be revealed to anyone without a written consent from the client. The exceptions to confidentiality are:
- If there is a reason to believe that the client may be harmful to themselves or to others (suicidal/homicidal)
- If there is a reason to believe there is child abuse or neglect
- If a court orders information in regards to the client’s sessions
Fees and Payment Policies
There are varying fees depending on type of session. Sessions typically last 50 minutes and take place on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Additional sessions can be added based on severity of situation and will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Fees will be collected at the beginning of each session, unless other arrangements have been made. Vision of Hope Counseling understands that affording therapy is sometimes difficult for a client, which is why there is sliding scale for clients who qualify (proof of income required). We would hate for anyone in need to feel that they could not afford services and are willing to negotiate a lower fee based on a case by case basis.
- Individual sessions are $80; Couples and Family sessions are $100.
- Workshop and Group fees vary. Please contact to inquire about rates.
- Acceptable forms of payment are cash, check or money order. There is a charge of $30 on all returned checks.
- Periodic phone calls and email contacts are not charged.
- Regular phone contacts, frequent email, home visits, report writing, consultation with other professionals, release of information, travel time, and so on will be charged at a rate discussed with your therapist. Before providing any of these services we will agree on their need and their cost.
Please notify your therapist as soon as possible if you have any difficulty making payments. Your difficulties will be considered to our mutual advantage.
At this time, insurance is not accepted. We at Vision of Hope do not want to have pre-set time limits forced upon our clients and therapists and feel that treatment plans should be agreed upon mutually by the two, not by an insurance company that has limited knowledge about your life and needs. Vision of Hope Clinicians will provide you with a receipt and necessary paperwork so that you can submit for reimbursement from your insurance company, if you so desire.
Cancellation Policy
There is a 48 hour requirement for cancellation. Please understand that session time is valuable and calling to cancel allows another person or family in crisis to be attended to by our staff. If you miss a session without 48 hours notice, you will be charged for that session. Emergencies and the unexpected do happen and can be taken into consideration.
